Building the Backbone: A Progress Update from Highview at Boulder Creek
There is something incredibly rewarding about watching a piece of land completely transform. If you have taken a drive through Camp Verde recently, you might have noticed our crews hard at work out at Highview at Boulder Creek.
As the civil contractor for this massive 166-lot residential subdivision, our team at Mangat Construction has been hitting the ground running.
We are still in the relatively early stages of the project, but we are thrilled to report that everything is moving smoothly, and on schedule.

Breaking Down the Progress: What’s Happening Under the Surface
When most people think of a new neighborhood, they picture the framing of houses, modern kitchens, and fresh landscaping. But before any of that can happen, you need the invisible heroes of engineering: the civil infrastructure. We like to think of it as building the backbone of the community. It’s the essential groundwork that turns an empty field into a functional, thriving place to live.
Here is a quick look at where things stand right now:
Underground Utilities (Phase 1): 100% Done
We have officially wrapped up the entire underground utility network for the first half of the project. That means 83 lots are now fully equipped with sewer, water, storm drains, and electrical lines safely buried and ready to go.
Curb & Gutter: Actively in Progress
If you look at the site today, you will see our teams actively pouring concrete. We are shaping the roads, laying down the curbs, and defining the neighborhood’s footprint for that very same initial phase.
Paving: Up Next for June
As soon as the curbs are locked in, the heavy rollers and pavers roll out. Blacktop paving is scheduled to begin this month, which will completely change the visual dynamic of the site.
The Big Picture
The Verde Valley is growing beautifully, and Highview at Boulder Creek is going to be a stellar addition to the Camp Verde community. The full 166-lot master project is on track to wrap up in early 2026.
While there is still plenty of dirt left to move between now and then, hitting these early milestones seamlessly gives our team immense pride. A huge thank you to our incredible field crews, operators, and partners who are out there every day baking in the Arizona sun to get the job done right.
